There are many ways you can become involved in the Genetic Programming Engine development effort.
If you would like to help out, feel free to participate in any of these activities.
Report Bugs and Features
If you find a bug in our program or have a suggestion for a new feature, we'd like to hear about it. You can find more details in the Reporting a Problem section of the Help page.
Participate in the Forums
If you've used the program before and have some free time, stop by the Support Tracker and share your knowledge.
Have a way with words? Maybe you'd like to help fix up our documentation. There's not a document alive that couldn't stand a little improvement ;) All of our documentation is included in our source Download, and we have a number of specific items posted in the Feature Requests Tracker that could use some work.
An engine is useless if it has nothing to run on. If you have an interesting problem that you've implemented for the Genetic Programming Engine, or if you've created a new Precode class, post it to the Feature Requests Tracker and we'll take a look. Our goal is 99% coverage on all of our library code, so be sure to upload your NUnit tests as well ;)
If you'd like to help work on the engine itself, contact one of the project administrators here and we'll get you set up on our development team. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, you can Download a copy of the source and get started on one of the open Bugs or Feature Requests.
